Smokin' Gunn's BBQ is a husband and wife team bringing authentic Texas-style barbecue to North and Central Queensland. Using traditional offset smoking techniques and charcoal-fired pits, we create smoked meats that are tender, flavour-packed and fall-off-the-bone good. Based in the Whitsundays, we travel anywhere across Queensland to feed crowds at school fetes, festivals, rodeos, private events and celebrations of all kinds

What started as a shared passion for food, smoke and flavour has grown into a family-run business built on authenticity, heart and seriously good barbecue.

Our menu blends classic American barbecue with bold Aussie flavour influences, led by a pitmaster trained in traditional Texas techniques and a head chef known for flavour, balance and creativity.

From slow-smoked brisket and pulled pork to loaded mac and cheese, nachos, burgers and tacos — everything we serve is smoked, seasoned and prepared with love.
